Applications are invited for the position of Project Executive Officer for project “Management & Development of Regulatory Tool” funded by the Forum of Regulator (FoR) at the Centre for Energy Regulation (CER). The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis as per IITK R &D rules.

Centre for Energy Regulation (CER)

The Centre for Energy Regulation (CER) addresses the need to supplement regulatory research and knowledge base to understand and analyze key issues in the power sector. It works in close cooperation with key stakeholders in the Indian power sector particularly the Electricity Regulatory Commissions (ERCs), the electric utilities and the academia.

Minimum Qualification:

Ph.D. + Min. 3 years of relevant professional experience

Or

M. Tech. + Min. 10 years of relevant professional experience

Or

M.B.A. with Bachelor’s Degree in Engg. + Min. 10 years of relevant professional experience

Or

Bachelor’s Degree in Engg. + Min. 12 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Expertise in the area of power sector regulation and policy.
  • Project and program management experience, managing and analyzing data, keeping multiple and simultaneous tasks/projects on track

    • Desirable:

    The candidate should be self-motivated, able to manage collaborative teams and coordinate various activities at the Centre/Department, excellent communication skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing with audiences particularly with the Electricity Regulatory Commissions (ERCs).


    Salary: Rs. 50400-4200-126000 PM Consolidated
