Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Research Assistant under the project entitled “A Study on ‘Possessions and Rituals’ among the Lambadi Tribal Community of India”
Post: Research Assistant
No. of Positions: One (1)
Salary (Consolidated): INR 16,000 per month
Minimum Qualification: Ph.D/M.Phil/ Postgraduate in social science discipline including Management (with 55% minimum marks)
Desirable Experience: Primary and secondary data collection and analysis, fieldwork in tribal areas, interdisciplinary research and working with the team, qualitative analysis using MAXQDA/ATLAS.ti/NVivo/Dedoose, and statistical analysis with Excel/SPSS/Python/R
Duties and Responsibilities: Planning and execution of fieldwork(in regions of Telegana), travel to field sites and interacting with stakeholders, conducting and recording individual interviews and focused group discussions, write project reports and academic publications, handling qualitative and/or quantitative data using the most appropriate method, other related work assigned by the reporting authority.
