Applications are invited for the following temporary & contractual post to work on the sponsored research projects entitled “Integrating UAV Technology with Thermal Infrared and Hyperspectral Imaging For Assessment Of Water Quality Of Large Water Bodies”. The details of the project and qualification requirements are given below:

Number of posts: Two

Minimum Qualification and Exp: Master’s in Earth Sciences/Geoinformatics/Civil Engg. with a CSIR-NET or GATE score.

Desirable Qualification and Exp: One of the candidates must have some experience in hyperspectral remote sensing and/or UAV data analysis. Familiarity with water quality data analysis is desirable. Another candidate may have some experience with GEE based remote sensing, and geomorphic mapping.

Salary: Rs. 31,000 plus HRA as applicable institute norms
