Positions (6 numbers) are available for Project Associate in a project titled “GIS/GPS Mapping of Waqf Properties in the State of Uttar Pradesh.” for a period of six-months. Project is sponsored by UP Sunni Central Waqf Board. Initial appointment will be given for 3-months and the same will be extended based on performance. The position is purely temporary and on contractual basis.
Salary Range: Rs. 18000-1500-45000
Duration: Up to October 2023
Essential Qualification: B. Tech/MSc in Earth Sciences or aligned field/ Remote Sensing with relevant experience.
Nature of Job: The project work will involve GIS/GPS mapping of Waqf properties in field – in the districts of Uttar Pradesh assigned to IIT Kanpur. The RA will be responsible to undertake mapping of Waqf properties as per the SOP given by Central Waqf Council, New Delhi (Copy of SOP is attached). It is expected that the RA will undertake mapping of minimum 15 properties per day. The candidate should know to read Urdu.
