Applications are invited for a Senior Project Associate to work on the sponsored research projects entitled “National Carbonaceous Aerosols Programme (NCAP) Working Group-III project: Carbonaceous Aerosol Emissions, Source Apportionment and Climate Effects”. The details of the project and qualification requirements are given below:

Name of Post: Senior Project Associate

Number of posts: One

Minimum Qualification and Exp: BTech + 1 yr experience Or MSc. +1 yr experience in Earth Sciences/Geology/Environmental Sciences, Civil engineering/Chemistry

Desired qualification: Preference will be given to those candidates who has one or more years of experience in operating a Stable Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer or a GC-Mass Spectrometer and familiar with stable isotope chemistry.
Preference will be given to Net/Gate qualified candidates.

Salary range: Rs. 21600-1800-54000 per month based on qualification

Duration of appointment: one year contract (may be extended to another three years depending upon performance)
