Applications are invited for a Senior Project Scientist to work on the sponsored research project entitled “ National Carbonaceous Aerosols Programme (NCAP) Working Group- III project: Carbonaceous Aerosol Emissions, Source Apportionment and Climate Effects”. The details of the project and qualification requirements are given below:

Name of Post: Senior Project Scientist

Number of posts: One

Minimum Qualification and Exp: Ph.D. + 2yr experience in Earth Sciences/Geology/Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering/Chemistry

Desired qualification: Preference will be given to those candidates who have one or more years of experience in operating a Stable Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer or a GC- Mass Spectrometer
and familiar with stable isotope chemistry.

Salary range: Rs. 27000 – 2700 – 54000 per month based on qualification

Duration of appointment: 1 Year Contract (may be extended to another two years depending on performance)
