Applications are invited for the following temporary & contractual post to work on the sponsored research projects entitled “Landscape and climate evolution of the Great Rann of Kachchh (GRK): Short-term (Holocene) and Long-term (50-100 ka) impact on Human Settlement & Resources”. The details of the project and qualification requirements are given below:

Name of Post: Senior Research Fellow

Number of posts: One

Minimum Qualification and Exp: M.Sc / M.Tech (Earth Sciences; Geology; Archaeology) + 2 years of research experience

Desirable Qualification and Exp: candidate having experience in handling XRF, IRMS, wet lab chemistry and knowledge of sedimentology and archaeology will be preferred.

Salary: consolidated Rs. 35,000

Duration of the above post is one year (may be extended up to 3 year or end of project whichever is earlier).
