Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Deputy Project Manager under the project entitled "JUST TRANSITION RESEARCH CENTRE" by Dr. Pradip Swarnakar, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Kanpur.
Post: Deputy Project Manager
Number of Positions: One
Scale of pay: 19200-1600-48000
Minimum Qualification: Post Graduate / Equivalent Degree (MBA/MCA/M.Com/ MSc./MA ) + 5 years of relevant experience OR Graduate (BSc./ BA/ B.Com/ BBA/ BCA) + 8 years of relevant experience at appropriate level.
Desirable Experience: The applicant should have prior knowledge/ experience working in a similar environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with government and business officials in Kolkata
- Conduct large scale household survey
- Data entry in SPSS
- Writing report in climate policy and coal transition
- Publication related to Indian political system and trade union in local language
- Organize workshops with local stakeholders in West Bengal
*Based on Qualification and experience the candidate may be considered for a lower post.
