Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Project Post-Doctoral Fellow under the project entitled "Just Transition Research Centre" by Dr. Pradip Swarnakar, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Kanpur.
Name of Post: Project Post-Doctoral Fellow
No. of Positions: Two (2)
Salary (Consolidated): INR 60,000/65,000/70,000 (depending on the experience and skills)
Minimum Qualification: PhD in environmental/energy economics, environmental sociology, climate studies, energy policy, environmental studies, or allied subjects related to climate and energy policy research.
Essential Experience: PhD with at least two published articles in SCI/SSCI/Scopus indexed journals.
Desirable Experience: Primary and secondary data collection and analysis, fieldwork in power plant or coal mines, interdisciplinary research and working with the team, statistical analysis with SPSS/Python/R, qualitative analysis using MAXQDA/ ATLAS.ti/NVivo/ Dedoose.
Duties and Responsibilities: Planning and execution of fieldwork, travel to field sites and interacting with stakeholders, write project reports and academic publications, handling quantitative and/or qualitative data, organize workshop with stakeholders, other related work assigned by the reporting authority.
*Based on Qualification and experience the candidate may be considered for a lower post.
