Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Project Post-Doctoral Fellow under the "Just Transition Research Centre" project by Dr. Pradip Swarnakar, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Kanpur.

Salary Range: 60000-5000-85000
Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. in environmental/energy economics, environmental sociology, climate studies, energy policy, environmental studies, or allied subjects related to climate and energy policy research or Ph.D.* from a reputed university /institute and an excellent track record, Two Scopus indexed publications.
Desirable Experience: Primary and secondary data collection and analysis, fieldwork in power plant or coal mines, interdisciplinary research and working with the team, statistical analysis with SPSS/Python/R, qualitative analysis using MAXQDA/ ATLAS.ti/ NVivo/ Dedoose.
Duties and Responsibilities: Planning and execution of fieldwork, travel to field sites and interacting with stakeholders, writing project reports and academic publications, handling quantitative and/or qualitative data, organize a workshop with stakeholders, other related work assigned by the reporting authority.
*Based on Qualification and experience the candidate may be considered for a lower post.
