Applications are invited for the following post in the project "Justice in India's Energy Transition" by Dr. Pradip Swarnakar, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Kanpur.

Name of Post: Project Scientist (Energy Policy)

Duration of Appointment: 11 Months (extendable based on the performance and funding)

No. of Positions: One (1)

Salary range: INR 26400-2200-66000

Minimum Qualification: M.A./M.Sc./M.B.A. in climate studies, economics, sociology, anthropology, geography, energy policy, environmental studies, sustainable development, or allied subjects.

Essential Experience: M.A./M.Sc./M.B.A + 3 years experience

Desirable Experience: Primary and secondary data collection and analysis, fieldwork in power plant or coal mines, interdisciplinary research and working with the team, quantitative and qualitative data analysis with SPSS/Python/R/MAXQDA/ATLAS.ti/NVivo/ Dedoose.

Duties and Responsibilities: Execution of fieldwork, travel to field sites and interaction with stakeholders, write project reports, handling quantitative and/or qualitative data, organize workshop with stakeholders, other related work assigned by the reporting authority.
