Advertisement for Project Associate in Psychology.

Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate, under the DST project, “Investigating Visual Word Processing in Hindi”. The said position will be a temporary position offered initially for 1 year but renewable for upto a maximum of 3years based on satisfactory performance.

Minimum Qualification Required: B. Tech preferably in Computer Science/ M.Sc. in Psychology/Cognitive Science/Computer Science/Life Sciences/Linguistics/Maths.

Skill Set Required: Candidates will preferably have an experience in conducting cognitive psychology/psycholinguistics experiments. Previous experience in using E Prime/Open Sesame/MATLAB for experimentation is desirable. Familiarity with SPSS/R/MATLAB for data analysis will also be needed. Prior programming experience with Python will be an added advantage.

Also, the project will involve working to create web/GUI – based resource platforms, so familiarity with required tools will be helpful.

Salary: INR 15000 – 1500 – 30000 depending upon qualification and experience.
