Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Field Investigator under the project entitled "Assessment of service quality at homestays: A study of rural tourism destinations in Northern Himalayas"
Post: Field Investigator
No. of Positions: One (1)
Salary (Consolidated): INR 15,000 per month
Minimum Qualification: Post-graduate in any social science discipline including Management with minimum 55% marks
Desirable Experience: Tourism marketing, Primary data collection via field interviews, focused group discussions, observations etc. (preferably in rural areas), basic knowledge about qualitative research and qualitative data analysis methods (Content analysis, Thematic analysis, Narrative analysis, Grounded theory etc.)
Duties and Responsibilities: Execution of fieldwork, travel to field sites and interacting with stakeholders, conducting and recording interviews, preparing and maintaining qualitative data, and any other related work assigned by the reporting authority.
