Applications are invited for the position of Project Executive Officer for project “Development & Management of Regulatory Tool” funded by Forum of Regulators at the Centre for Energy Regulation (CER). The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis. The appointment would be initially given for one year, on an extension basis up to the end of project.

Centre for Energy Regulation (CER)

The Centre for Energy Regulation (CER) addresses the need to supplement regulatory research and knowledge base to understand and analyze key issues in the power sector. It works in close cooperation with key stakeholders in the Indian power sector particularly the Electricity Regulatory Commissions (ERCs), the electric utilities and the academia.

Minimum Qualification:

  1. Ph.D. + Min. 3 years of related professional experience

    Or

    M. Tech. + Min. 10 years of related professional experience

    Or

    M.B.A. with Bachelor’s Degree in Engg. + Min. 10 years of related professional experience

    Or

    Bachelor’s Degree in Engg. + Min. 12 years of related professional experience.

  1. Expertise in the area of power sector regulation and
  2. The candidate should have excellent communication skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels and across teams
  3. Project and program management experience, managing and analyzing data, keeping multiple and simultaneous tasks/projects on track
  4. Proficient Microsoft Office skills - to translate data into insights that conveys clear and actionable recommendation.

Desirable:

  1. The applicant should be self-motivated and be able to manage collaborative
  2. The candidate should be able to coordinate various activities at the Centre/Dept.
  3. Experience in managing and delivering online/offline educational training programs at IIT, IIM, IIIT or equivalent. Preferably with experience in the power/energy sector.

Salary: Rs. 50400-4200-126000 PM Consolidated
