Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Research Associate under the project entitled "Assessment of service quality at homestays: A study of rural tourism destinations in Northern Himalayas"
Post: Research Associate
No. of Positions: One (1)
Salary (Consolidated): INR 20,000 per month
Minimum Qualification: Post graduate in social science discipline including Management (with 55% minimum marks) with NET /M.Phil. / Ph.D.
Essential Experience: PhD with at least one published article in ABDC/SCI/SSCI/Scopus indexed journals.
Desirable Experience: Primary and secondary data collection and analysis, fieldwork in rural areas, interdisciplinary research and working with the team, qualitative analysis using MAXQDA/ATLAS.ti/NVivo/Dedoose, and statistical analysis with Excel/SPSS/Python/R
Duties and Responsibilities: Planning and execution of fieldwork, travel to field sites and interacting with stakeholders, conducting and recording individual interviews and focused group discussions, write project reports and academic publications, handling qualitative and/or quantitative data using the most appropriate method, other related work assigned by the reporting authority.
