Advertisement for one Senior Project Executive Officer

Position Overview:

The Kotak School of Sustainability (KSS) at IIT Kanpur, India was launched in December 2023 as a transformative initiative to lead India--and the world--towards a sustainable future. Over the next five years, The School aims to embed sustainability into education, research, and policy; fostering innovation and shaping practices for lasting environmental, social, and economic impact. The School is seeking a Senior Project Executive Officer who will play a crucial role in driving the successful implementation of this landmark initiative and will ensure that the key projects driven by KSS align with the strategic objectives set by the apex committee and deliver tangible values for societal good.

Job-specific qualifications and experience:

  • Advanced University degree (Master’s or Doctoral or equivalent) in Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, Management, International relations or a relevant subject.
  • Certification in Project Management such as Prince2 or similar is desirable.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration or related area is required. Experience in results-based planning is desirable. Experience in monitoring and reporting on programmes is desirable.

Consolidated Salary Range: INR 70000-5000-200000 per month (Salary shall be commensurate with experience & skills)

Nature of position: Temporary / Contractual

Duration of appointment: 1 Years or till end of project (whichever earlier), renewed annually based on performance.

Selection:
