Improvement in DC by changing numerical methods/algorithms.

Master/PhD degree in above subject.
Very good knowledge of high level programming language preferably FORTRAN 90/95 as well as experience in profiling and optimization of code.
Sound knowledge of scripting languages Python, shell scripting, Meteorological data analysis tools (like GrADS, FERRET, NCL, NCO, CDO etc.)
Good knowledge of parallel programming concept and GPU programming.
Knowledge of HPC Systems Administration would be an added advantages

Job responsibilities:

To write code and implement parallel algorithms on supercomputers. Handling of models running, debugging and profiling of them.
To develop job script for running models.
Help developers for running model code as providing assistances for solving HPC related issues.
