Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) invites applications for the post of Research Associate in a CSIR sponsored project on "Torus Geometric Invariant Theory Quotient Of Grassmannians"
Position Details:
- Essential Qualification: PhD (awarded/submitted) in Mathematics and Related subjects with strong knowledge on the topics of the project.
- Duration of Post: Twenty four months from January 25, 2022
- No. of posts: One
- Consolidated Salary: Rs. 47000/- per month + HRA as per IIT Kanpur norms
- The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis, and is for the duration of two years starting from January 25, 2022 and may be extended for one more year depending on the performance.
Selection: The selection committee approved by IIT Kanpur reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for shortlisting of eligible candidates satisfying qualifications and experience. Short listed candidates will be informed with an email about the date of interview (online). If shortlisted, copies of relevant certificates will be required, and be checked against original certificates at the time of interview.
Job Responsibilities: The candidate must carry out research work, planning and execution of project related activities, prepare report and presentations
