Smart Materials Structures and Systems Laboratory (SMSS), Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur is seeking passionate and motivated researchers to work on developing a series of next-generation advanced robotic systems. Our team comprises researchers and professionals from diverse backgrounds including Robotics, Mechanical design, and Control, and is looking forward to augmenting its capabilities with a Researcher in Circuit design and development.

Project Title:- Medical COE (Wheel chair)
Name of the Post: Project Engineer
Salary: Rs. 31600-2600-78400 Per Month.
(Higher starting salary may be considered for exceptionally qualified/experienced candidates as per IITK Rules)
Responsibilities: -
- Mixed signal/Analog circuit design for High-Speed Memory I/O Interfaces
- Solve the challenge of circuit designs in deep submicron (16nm and smaller) CMOS finfet processes.
- Take designs through productization and be involved in all stages of development.
- Work with cross-functional teams to optimize the designs.
- Be the interface to the customer in technical interactions, feasibility analysis, design reviews, and parameter estimations (like Power/Area).
- Design circuit architecture to control and support radiating elements for overall array performance.
- Investigate new technologies and applications for phased arrays.
- Apply knowledge of broad engineering principles and collaborate with other engineering disciplines to meet all product requirements.
- Organize design efforts on technically challenging designs to meet cost and schedule requirements.
- Work without appreciable direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining the technical objectives of an assignment.
Essential Skillset: The ideal candidate should have,
- Broad circuit design and implementation knowledge with significant depth.
- Knowledge of package substrate, board design, and power delivery.
- Working knowledge of Cadence custom design tools, and various circuit simulators like Hspice, XA, FineSim, Spectre.
- Working knowledge of Verilog, Nanotime, and Matlab.
- Hands-on with Lab test and measurement equipment.
- Requires a strong fundamental understanding of transistor-level analog design designs in the deep submicron process.
Minimum Qualification: M.Tech, Or B.Tech + 3 years’ relevant experience.
