Application in plain paper are invited for the temporary post of Research Associate in the Project no DST/ME/2018546, titled "Fracture and delamination under dynamic loading"
Desired Qualification: Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science and basic degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science. Knowledge of high strain rate behavior of materials, in particular evaluating high strain rate behavior of fiber and nanocomposites using the split-Hopkinson Pressure bar technique.
Experience: Preparation of fiber and nano-composites, metal matrix composites, characterization techniques like FESEM, TEM, XRD etc. is desired. Publications in reputed journals and experience in writing project proposals and reports.
Salary: Consolidated Salary range: Rs. 47,000/- per month (consolidated)
