Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist position in a IHUBKG Sponsored Project, Titled” “Nano Finishing Of Cylindrical Camshafts Powered with Machine Learning tools with surface roughness measurement using Fibre Bragg Grating sensor” tenable at Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur under the supervisor of the undersigned.

Emoluments: Rs. 45000/- (Consolidated)

Duration of Appointment: The position is purely temporary and contractual, for one year or end of project (whichever is early)

Desirable Qualification: PhD in Mechanical Engineering, with relevant experience in surface engineering, manufacturing automation and sensor development. The incumbent should be familiarized with earlier project work within IIT Kanpur.

The selection will be based on a interview/ online interview which will be conducted at IIT Kanpur. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
