Title: Senior Project Associate (1 position)

Position Description:

The goal of this work will be to develop a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)-based machine learning model which will take the pre-processed images from the previous deliverable, as input and identify the type of defect such as stress corrosion crack (intergranular, trans granular, ordinary), dezincification, transverse crack, inclusions (metallic, non-metallic), piping defect, dislocations, inclusion (phosphide, sulfide), crack, die folding mark, orange peel, incomplete grain recrystallization, blister, gas holes, etc. as output.

This is a full-time appointment. The successful candidate will receive a salary of Rs. 25,900.

Qualifications

The candidate must have a B.Tech + 1 year exp or M.Tech degree + 1 year exp, preferably in Mechanical, Production or Materials Engineering. Additional skills required for this position include a good knowledge of Python, or PyTorch, Keras and Machine learning. The candidate’s university transcripts must show these skills in terms of the courses taken at the university, Online course certificates demonstrating skills related on machine learning are NOT acceptable.
