Applications are invited for a post of ‘Senior Project Associate’ in a project entitled “Space Technology Cell”. The duration of the appointment will be initially for a period of one year which may be extended depending upon the requirement. The appointment is purely temporary and on contractual basis.

Minimum qualifications: B.Tech + one year experience in Computer Science with good credentials

Desirable Qualification / Experience:

• Must have working experience in server management and administration.
• Should have good fundamental knowledge of FTP, SFTP, Web Development
• Should have good knowledge of Virtual Machines and SSH.
• Should have a good academic record (greater than 65%).
• Should have High Proficiency in English communication.

Job profile:

• Maintain linkages with PIs of IIT Kanpur and ISRO R&D team to provide access to fund and technological know-how.
• Coordinate Project review meetings and maintain records / minutes
• Liaison with R&D IIT Kanpur, reporting and preparing periodical reports
• To ensure proper flow of information between ISRO R&D, R&D IIT Kanpur and Project Investigators
• Assist in organization of related workshops, conferences and platform meetings.
• To Maintain a comprehensive database of the past and on-going projects on the institute repository and ensure version control with the PIs.
