Applications are invited for one position of ‘Senior Project Scientist’, initially for a period of one year (extendable depending on the performance) in the COE flagship project entitled "Design and Development of Autonomous Stairs/Escalator Climbing & Self-navigating Smart Wheelchair." at COE: Telemedicine and Robotics, IIT Kanpur.

Salary: (INR38800-3200-96400) (Consolidated)

Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. (Mechanical) + 1-year of relevant experience or ME/M Tech (Mechanical) + 6 years of relevant experience

Desirable Skillset:

Proficiency in structural stress, vibration, and dynamic analysis using FEA.
Experience in design software AutoCAD, Sledworks, MSC-Adams, MATLAB.
Experience in ROS and programming language C, C++, Python.
Experience in microcontroller programming Arduino, Raspberry Pi.
Experience in sensors and actuators.
Experience in Robot Hardware development
Experience of Machining (Lathe, milling, drilling, welding etc.)
Experience in product development
