Applications on plain paper are invited for one position of ‘Senior Research fellow’ in the consolidated salary range of Rs. 28000/- in the research project DST/ME/2018193 titled ‘Development of novel cooling systems for high power LEDs for enhanced reliability and lifetime’. This post is purely temporary for a period not exceeding one year. Appointment may be terminated at any time depending on the requirement of this project and performance of the candidate.

Minimum Qualifications:

Educational:

M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal-Fluid Science) + 03 years of relevant experience

Desirable:

Preference will be given to the candidates having research experience/publications in design and development of thermal systems, preferably with phase-change heat transfer and knowledge of interfacial physics.
Some experience with commercial CFD software, with exposure to parallel computing.

The post is purely temporary and can be extended on the basis of performance as per institute rule. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates called for the test/interview. Only short listed candidates will be called for test/interview.
