Advertisement for Consultant for the Project: MHRD/MET/2016408J

(Title: High strength, wear and corrosion resistant steel for high speed rail and elastic clip)

Applications are invited for following temporary position in a sponsored project (MHRD/MET/2016408J) at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Consultant (one position)

Minimum Qualification: PhD/Master degree with significant experience and expertise in Metallurgical Engineering, especially in Physical Metallurgy of Steel and modelling of microstructure.

Desirable Work Experience: Relevant experience in steel research and phase field modelling.

Salary range: Rs. 35000-3500-70000 (per month)
The above position is purely temporary, and for one year duration.
