Applications are invited for post of Research Associate (One post) in the project titled “Development of a portable and non-contact type intraocular (IOP) Pressure measurement device” sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The appointment is purely temporary and is on contractual basis. Initial appointment will be for one year with a possibility of extension for another year.

Salary Range: Rs. 36000/- +20%

Minimum Qualification: 

MSc. In physics with proven programming and Instrumentation skills or M.Tech in Electrical or Electronic or Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with background in programming and simulations, or Ph.D. in physics or Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

Competency in physics, Optics, programming and Instrumentation is mandatory.

It is desirable that candidates have experience in the following areas:

1. Simulation experience in fluids/flexible membranes
2. Experience with instrumentation and/or programming and Arduino interfacing

Only short-listed applicants will be called for a telephonic interview whose date and time will be intimated by email. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview in person. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualification and work experience will not be called for the interview. Right to choose appropriate candidate for the interview lies with the principal investigator.
