Applications are invited for temporary & contractual post of Senior Project Associate under SERB (DST) sponsored project entitled "Development of Amorphous Metal Oxy-Nitride Semiconductors for TFTs" at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Essential Qualification: B.Tech. (Materials, Electrical, Chemical) + 1 year (minimum) relevant experience or MSc. (Physics) + 1 year (minimum) relevant experience

Relevant Experience: Deposition of thin films (oxides, nitrides) via reactive sputtering, hands on experience in vacuum deposition and maintenance of vacuum systems

Desirable Experience: Candidates having experience in characterization of semiconducting thin films and thin film transistor fabrication and characterization will be given preference.

Salary: Rs. 21600 - 1800 - 54000 (based on experience)

Term of Appointment: One year
