Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate, NWTF IIT Kanpur. The Post is temporary and on contractual basis for a period of one year. The period may be extended based on performance and requirement.

Post: Project Associate

Number of Post: Four (04)

Salary range: Salary: INR 18000-1500-45000 per month (consolidated)

Minimum Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical or Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering + prior experience

in wind tunnel.

Desirable Qualification:-

  • Familiar with wind tunnel model design, instrumentation & testing.
  • Familiar with basic experimental techniques for wind tunnel testing.
  • Familiar with using Abaqus CAE, Fusion 360, Ansa Pre-processing,NASA OpenVSP,LaTeX etc.
  • Experience in design software such as AutoCAD/Solidworks/Ansys Structure/Catia V5/GD&T.
  • The candidate should have good knowledge of structural mechanics/fluid mechanics /Aerodynamics.

Minimum Qualification: B.Tech/BE in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/MSc in Electronics

Desirable Qualification:-

  • Familiar with sensors, calibration of various sensors, electrical & electronic circuits.
  • Familiar with Types of Sensors and physical phenomena.
  • Familiar with basic experimental technique for wind tunnel testing
  • Familiar with Data acquisition and hardware.
  • Handle various instrument for wind tunnel including computers & other peripheral devices
