Applications are invited for the post of Project Technician, NWTF IIT Kanpur. The Post is temporary and on contractual basis for a period of one year. The period may be extended based on performance and requirement.

Post: Project Technician

Number of Post: Five (05)

Salary range: Salary: INR 18000-1500-45000 per month (consolidated)

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc + 4 years of relevant experience or 03 years Engg. Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience or High School + ITI + 9 years of relevant experience, in a Govt. organization or in an educational Institute or in an organization of repute + experience in preparation of experimental setup for wind tunnel testing and strain gauge based sensor calibration for wind tunnel applications.

Desirable Qualification:-

• Familiar with sensors, calibration of various sensors, electrical & electronic circuits.
• Knowledge of FRP Model fabrication for wind tunnel applications, precision fitting & assembly of wind tunnel models.
• Familiar with basic experimental technique for wind tunnel testing
• Familiar with strain gaging and related instrumentation, motors & motion control.
• Handle various instrument for wind tunnel including computers & other peripheral devices
