“Compact Plasmon-based Bio-sensor and Imager”
Applications are invited for One post of Junior Research Fellow in this project at the Department of Physics, IIT Kanpur. The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis.
Junior Research Fellow:
Essential qualification: First Class in (i) M.Sc (Physics) + Qualification in NET OR M.Tech or M.S (Engg) with thesis topic in Optics/Photonics/Lasers/related area OR B.Tech (Engg Physics or ECE) + Qualification in NET OR 5-yr Integrated B.S-M.S/B.Sc-M.Sc (Physics or Photonics) + Qualification in NET.
Desirable qualifications: (i) Â Experience in Optics experiments. (ii) Familiarity with bio-photonic studies (iv) Experience in experimental optical imaging or computational models of it.
Salary: Rs. 25,000 + 20% HRA (as per Institute norms)
Duration: 1 year (extendable by one more year subject to satisfactory performance)
