Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate for a period of 1 year, in the DST sponsored project (DST/PHY/2014151) entitled “Effect Of Composition And Thermal Gradients On The Dynamics Of Intracluster Medium”. The appointment is purely temporary and on contractual basis.

The interested candidates are requested to submit their applications along with curriculum vitae containing information regarding their degrees and work experience. Applicant who does not meet the minimum qualification and the work experience will not be called for the interview. Only hard copies of applications will be entertained. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Minimum qualification: B.Tech. / M.Sc.

Desirable: Candidates with Physics or Mathematics background will be preferred. Decent knowledge of C, Fortran, Python, and Mathematica is expected from the candidates. Candidates should have the knowledge of working in Linux environment. The candidates should have sound background in chaos theory, perturbation methods for solving nonlinear differential equations, and Hamiltonian dynamics.
