Applications are invited for the following post in sponsored research project funded by CSIR, New Delhi entitled, “Removal of volatile organic compounds by functionalized carbon nanocomposites”. The appointment is purely temporary and contractual.

Research Associate  (1 No.)

Salary Scale: Rs.36,000/- per month consolidated as per CSIR norms

Minimum qualifications: Ph.D.  in Environmental Sciences/atmospheric science/Chemistry OR 3 years research experience after M.Tech/ME in Civil/Environmental engineering with at least one research paper in SCI (science citation indexed)

Desirable qualifications: Experience in the preparation and characterization of CNTs by CVD method and good working knowledge of various analytical instruments like GC, GC/MS and ICPMS.

Age limit : 35 years (upper age limit). Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates
