Applications are invited for temporary & contractual post of Project Associate under the project entitled “Centre of Excellence for Large Area of Flexible Electronics at IIT Kanpur” at SCDT, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: B.Tech, Or Post graduate, Or Graduate+ 3 years relevant experience

Desirable Qualification and Experience: MSc Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry with 2 years of relevant experience

• Strong knowledge in organic synthesis, polymer synthesis and composite
• Strong knowledge in characterization of molecules, polymers, and composites.
• Strong knowledge on conducting polymers
• Good understanding on gas sensors
• Basic understanding of ink formulation
• Basic understanding on coordination complex

Nature of work

• Synthesis of polymers, polymer composites, and organic molecules.
• Handling characterization instruments related to the project
• Fabrication of gas sensing devices

Salary: Rs. 21600-1800-54000/- (per month based on qualification)

Term of Appointment: The appointment will be purely on temporary and contractual basis initially for a period of three years or end of the project, whichever is earlier
