Applications are invited for temporary & contractual post of Project Scientist/Project Engineer under the project entitled “Centre of Excellence for Large Area Flexible Electronics at IIT Kanpur” at SCDT, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: PhD or (M.Sc + 3 Yrs of Exp.) / M.Tech or (B.Tech. + 3 Yrs of Exp)

Desirable Qualification and Experience: Experience in organic electronic device fabrication for at least ten years following minimum qualification degree.

Essential Experience: Experience in a research & development project(s) related to organic electric device fabrication. Candidate should have hands-on working experience with organic photovoltaic device and module fabrication. He/she should be capable of making measurements and analyse absorption spectrum measurements on thin films; and current-voltage characteristics and spectral response measurements on solar cells. He/she should have familiarity with electronic material characterization such as XRD, profilometer, SEM, AFM etc. and device characterization such as electrical conductivity, CV, and impedance measurements.

Salary:Rs. 26400-2200-66000/- per month based on qualification

Duration of appointment: One year or till end of the project
