Applications are invited for temporary & contractual post of Project Technician under the project entitled “Centre of Excellence for Large Area of Flexible Electronics at IIT Kanpur” at Samtel Centre for Display Technologies (SCDT), IIT Kanpur.

For the Position of: “Project Technician”

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc + 4 years of relevant experience Or 3 years Engg. Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience Or High School+ ITI+ 9 years of relevant experience.

Desirable Qualification:

• B.Sc (PCM) or Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/Electricals Engineering
• Experience in materials synthesis, ink formulation, screen printing of functional devices including contact electrodes and functional layers and materials processing in glove box environment.
• Experience or familiarity with electrical and mechanical techniques such as optical microscopy, sheet resistance measurements, adhesion tests, and electrical measurements.
• Proficiency in vector graphics software such as CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator.

Salary: Rs. : 18000-1500-45000 /- (per month based on qualification)

Term of Appointment: The appointment will be purely on temporary and contractual basis initially for a period of three years or end of the project, whichever is earlier
