Applications are invited for temporary & contractual post of Project Technical Supervisor under the project entitled “Centre of Excellence for Large Area of Flexible Electronics at IIT Kanpur” at SCDT, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc + 8 years of relevant experience Or 3 years Engg. Diploma + 8 years of relevant experience

Desirable Qualification and Experience:

  • 3 Years in Engineering Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
  • The candidate must have at least 10 years of work experience in PCB Designing.
  • Multilayer Rigid and Flex PCB design with EDA Software (Altium Designer).
  • Created and modified Assembly Drawings, Bills of Material, New Component Drawings, Drill Drawings of Printed Circuit Board assemblies.
  • Process DFM, conduct design reviews, modify schematic, verify component footprints.
  • Created Gerber data and manufacturing data, DRC and ERC rules check, layer stack management.
  • Equipment handling related to component assembly likes SMT Stencil, printer, pick & place, Rework Station, Reflow Oven, Microscope etc.
  • Hardware Trouble shooting, debugging and final testing of product.
  • Excellent Hands-on skills on ACF bonding machine for interconnection bonding for LCD /OLED display
  • Familiar with working in Class 10000 cleanroom environment

Salary: Rs. 23000-2000-59000/- (per month based on qualification)

Term of Appointment: The appointment will be purely on temporary and contractual basis initially for a period of three years or end of the project, whichever is earlier
