Applications are invited for temporary & contractual post of Sr. Project Scientist under the project entitled “Centre of Excellence for Large Area of Flexible Electronics at IIT Kanpur” at SCDT, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: (PhD +1 year. of relevant experience) or (Postgraduate degree + 4 years of relevant experience)

Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. in Biotechnology with 5 years of relevant experience

Desirable Experience : At least five years’ experience in followings area

• Work experience in medical biosensors ,POC devices fabrication and nanomaterials based conductive inks synthesis.
• Hands-on experience in screen-printed techniques, electrode fabrication, electrode modification, Nanomaterial synthesis
• Hands-on Experience in bio-nanocomposite synthesis and characterization.
• Expertise in enzyme isolation, purification and immobilization techniques.
• Familiar with electrochemical and optical characterization techniques, e.g. CV, LSV, Amperometry, spectrophotometry.
• Work experience in handling and processing of flexible substrates for biomedical applications.

Salary: Rs. 38800-3200-96400/- (per month based on qualification)

Term of Appointment: The appointment will be purely on temporary and contractual basis initially for a period of three years or end of the project, whichever is earlier
