Applications are invited for one position of Senior Research Fellow under the project entitled “DST-Bioenergy & H₂ MAP”.

Qualification: Ph.D. or Master Degree according to 'A' or ‘B’ given below.

1. A) For those with M.Tech qualification + 02 years experience

Essential Qualifications: M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science Engineering.

• Minimum percentage marks: 70% in M.Tech & 60% in B.Tech.
• Should have taken Material Science/Thermodynamics courses at B.Tech level.

1. B) For those with B.Sc. & M.Sc. qualification + 03 years experience

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics/Materials Science

• Should have taken Mathematics as a course subject at B.Sc level
• B.Sc. in Physics/Materials Science with 60%
• A minimum of 65% in M.Sc. degree
• JRF qualified or 95 percentile or higher in GATE. Experience of three years (in research).

It is desirable that the candidate possess experience in hydrogen storage and refrigeration systems, good experimental skills, familiarity with techniques such as SEM, XRD, and FTIR and knowledge of operating vacuum induction furnace and arc melting. The candidate is expected to be self-driven in conducting research and publishing his/her work in high-quality scientific journals and conferences. Additionally, candidates with strong verbal and written communication skills are preferred.

Duration of appointment: Post is purely temporary from the date of appointment to 15-Mar-2025.

Salary: A consolidated salary of Rs. 35000 per month +18% HRA
