A
research position is available, on a temporary basis, in a sponsored
project from Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), entitled
“Study of parametric sensitivity of water permeation in Fuel
Cell Proton Exchange Membranes”.
Objective of the work: Development of Fuel Cell
proton exchange membranes with specific objective to develop thermally
stable and low hydrogen cross-over with high ionic conductivity
Desirability:
The work requires expertise and experience in polymer synthesis
and their characterization with various instruments; thus, familiarity
of use of several characterization techniques to characterize developed
proton exchange membranes.
Post: Senior Project Associate
Salary Range: Rs. 12,000 – 1,200 –
24,000
[B. Tech. OR M. Sc. + 1 year experience]
Qualification:
B. Tech. OR M. Sc. + 1 year experience in Chemical Engineering,
Polymer Chemistry, and Chemistry with aptitude in polymer synthesis
and their characterization with various instruments. Higher starting
salary may be considered for exceptionally qualified and experienced
candidates. The appointment will be for six months (initially) and
may be extended.
