A research position is available, on a temporary basis, in a sponsored
project from Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), entitled
“Study of parametric sensitivity of water permeation in Fuel
Cell Proton Exchange Membranes”.
Objective of the work:
Deciphering and detailing of water permeation mechanism of Fuel
Cell proton exchange membranes to enable working out improved designing
and processing strategies for Fuel Cell stacks. Maintaining optimum
water flux across proton exchange membrane is crucial in deriving
required performance from a Fuel Cell.
Desirability:
The work requires expertise in mathematical modelling and analysis
as well as familiarity to characterize proton exchange membranes.
