Applications are invited for a position of
Project Assistant in a DST sponsored project titled “Photoelectrochemical
water splitting using photoelectrodes having non-native nanostructures
and selective terminations”. The work will involve the density
functional studies of photoelectrochemical devices using non-native
nanostructures.
Minimum qualifications: B.Tech in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
Desirable background: Thorough understanding of first-principle
calculations using Quantum
Espresso and GPAW and programming experience in Python and Fortran90
along with knowledge
of surface physics.
Salary Range: Rs. 9,000-900-18000
Duration of appointment: Six months
