Applications are invited for one post of Project Associate for maintenance and handling of research equipments such as contact angle goniometer, micro-tribometer, and differential thermal analyzer, etc., in the Department of Materials Sciences & Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: B. Tech. or MSc.

Work Experience:

The applicant should have worked in a research lab and exposed themselves to the academic working environment. Knowledge of sample sectioning and polishing, handling of research samples, and exposure to biomaterials is essential.

Microstructural and phase analysis, managing paperwork for ordering equipments and consumables, knowledge of entering data in computer and drafting letters is desirable.

Salary Range: Rs. 15000-1500-30000.

The post is purely temporary, and is for duration of nine months only. If shortlisted, copies of relevant certificated will be required, and will be checked against original certificates at the time of interview.
