Applications are invited for one post of Project Associate for a DST project entitled "A statistical Mechanics approach to study phases and phase transitions of driven diffusive systems relevant to physics and biology" at the Physics Department, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification : M.Sc. Physics with a First class

Desirable : Knowledge in programming ; Interest in Mathematical Physics;
Willingness to work in the interdisciplinary areas involving Physics and Biology

Salary Range : Rs. 10,000-20,000 per month

The post is for one year.
