The Workshop is open to all the members of IIT Kanpur (Faculty, Research Staff, PG and UG students). IITK members should kindly send us an email if they are interested to participate - that will help us to streamline everything. Due to the severe constraints on accomodation, we are able to entertain only very few external applicants. Selected applicants have been informed of the participation by email. A registration fee of Rs. 2000/ is payable by the external participants. This fee would cover your accomodation at IIT Kanpur and food for a day apart from the course materials. It is planned that the entire event wil be filmed and A CD will be sent to all the participants. There is no registration fee for the IITK participants. If you are a member of the IEEE, you can avail a concession of Rs. 500/- in which case the amount payable will be Rs. 1500/- only. Kindly furnish your IEEE membership number and validity. For students again a concession of Rs. 500/- is available and the fees payable would be Rs. 1500/-. IEEE student members can avail of both concessions and the fees payable by them would be Rs. 1000/- only. Again they are kindly requested to furnish the IEEE membership details. Kindly send your registration fees as soon as possible by a bank draft in favour of "Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur" payable at Kanpur. The deadline to receive the registration fees is 01 October 2005. Kindly confirm your participation and send the details of the bank draft as soon as possible by email. Your registration will be confirmed only after the bank draft reaches us. We urge you to book you travel tickets as soon as possible.
