Rajeev Gupta

Rajeev Gupta joined the physics dept and the materials science programme in 2005. He obtained his Ph.D from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore working with Prof. Ajay Sood. Subsequently, he has done post-doctoral work at University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris (with Prof. Robert Pick), Pennsylvania State University (Prof. Peter Eklund) and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Prof. Lance Cooper). He is an experimental physicist with interests in problems in the broad area of condensed matter physics with emphasis on using optical spectroscopy to explore the rich and exotic phases in materials.
