"An Innovative Thinking Leads to Best Performance"
About Us
SimuTech is a group of students in Chemical Engineering department of IIT-Kanpur. It provides a platform for students to pursue their interest in theoretical, practical and simulation projects related to chemical engineering and other fields.
Here in SimuTech group, we give you immense opportunities to know the astonishing world of chemical technology, to think in new directions and to innovate. It’s a perfect place to shape your imagination real and pursue your ideas with freedom. Currently, we are a team of 29 undergraduates from different academic years, where seniors and juniors are working together on different projects. We organise the workshop on softwares like Matlab and Aspen plus .We have also done projects in collaboration with organisation like Nariphaltan. Very soon, we intend to participate in the prestigious national level chemical engineering competitions. Apart from it, we do have a lot of fun in get together sessions.
“A special Thanks to Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT-Kanpur for their support in taking the group to new heights”

A combination of dedication, zeal, and aspirations, SimuTech aims at the technological details of the chemical engineering aspects while adding a flavor of scientific research. The ingenuity along with the meticulous nature of the members is laudable. Most of the projects done lies at the lower end of the financial spectrum, thereby, augmenting the associated challenge. Few of the cardinal results obtained from the projects also appears to be promising from a practical stand-point. Overall, a nice initiative underscored by the members for the pragmatic application of the theoretical concepts.
Simutech provides a platform for junior year students(1st and 2nd year) to come across the prospects of Chemical Engineering at a very early stage: whether it be simulation or experimental. The most significant part of this student's owned club for me is that it helps the students to choose their stream of interest much earlier which is so cardinal for careers in research since, the students can identify their field of interest at a much earlier stage and can work with the concerned professors to further explore their field of interest.

I have not been with the SimuTech for long but the time I have spent, am spending and definitely will be spending, gives me a peculiar satisfaction of helping my fellow students and learning more than teaching them what I know. I always felt groups like these in IITK are not for me but the quality of work done here and the efficient use of time is a big deal setter. Motivation is needed for all the great work one does in a lifetime and I truly believe SimuTech helps because of awesome team members and their endless efforts to always do better.
Only club in IITk with a vision for its club members to learn as much of chemical engineering. Gives an opportunity to work on very practical and hot fields of chemical engineering.

Simutech is doing great work, giving people an experience of real life applications of what they read in their courses. It is an awesome idea to learn how to use the understanding of academics for actual industry level projects. I wish we had anything like this group when we were in IITK. Well Done People, Keep it up!

Simu Tech provides a platform where seniors and juniors come together to solve the real life problems. It gives the taste of real engineering application of knowledge we gain in class rooms.
