BATCH OF 1965 SCHOLARSHIP

1.  To be awarded to UG students of 4-year program based on merit cum means (CPI above 6.5 and family income till 9.0 lacs) and participation in extra-curricular activities.

2. One scholarship of Rs 1,00,000/- to be earmarked for each year (i.e., 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students). A student once selected to receive the scholarship should continue to receive the scholarship until graduation unless he/she fails to meet any of criteria.

KAIRA KARMAKAR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

1. First-year students with an All-India Rank (AIR) below 1000 (Open category) shall be eligible.

2. Eligibility shall be extended to students whose total family annual income does not exceed six times the full tuition and academic fees (excluding refundable security deposits). Any future changes in tuition and academic fees will be factored in accordingly.

1. This prize is for the best creative research proposal.

2. One prize will be given to a 4^th year undergraduate student, and one will be given to a 2^nd year postgraduate student of any discipline or program.

3. For the UG prize, any fourth year UG student, or a group of UG students doing a UGP/BTP project are eligible for consideration.

4. For PG students, only M.Tech/ MS(R)/ MBA/ M.Des./Ph.D./ MSc.- Ph.D. Dual Degree are eligible for consideration.

5. Departments to solicit proposals, setup a committee for evaluating those proposals, and make one recommendation to the SSPC.
