Prof. Aditya K. Jagannatham Prof. Aditya K. Jagannatham
is a Professor in the Electrical Engineering department at IIT Kanpur, where he holds the Arun Kumar Chair Professorship. He is one of India s best-known experts and trainers on 5G technology. He received his Bachelors degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, San Diego, U.S.A. From April '07 to May '09 he was employed as a senior wireless systems engineer at Qualcomm, San Diego, California, where he was a part of the Qualcomm CDMA technologies (QCT) division. His research interests are in the area of next generation wireless networks, with a special emphasis on various 5G technologies such as massive MIMO, mmWave MIMO, FBMC, NOMA, Full Duplex and others. Prof. Suraj Srivastava
Prof. Suraj Srivastava
received the M.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, in 2022. He was previously employed as a Staff-I systems design engineer with Broadcom Research India, and as a lead engineer with Samsung Research India. He also worked as a senior lead engineer in Qualcomm India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, from October 2022 to November 2023. His research interests include applications of Sparse Signal Processing in 5G Wireless Systems, mmWave and Tera-Hertz Communication, Optimization and Machine Learning. He was awarded Qualcomm Innovation Fellowships (QIF) in years 2018 and 2022. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur.

Kirti Keshav
is working as Director in Samsung Semiconductor India Research(SSIR). He obtained his Masters and PhD from Indian institute of Science Bangalore. He has extensive 22+ years of experience at Samsung mainly in the Handset side Wireless Protocols and is presently leading Modem Firmware PHY/L1 and Commercialization of Exynos Modem across GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR and efforts towards 6G readyness for Samsung Modem Business. Proud Contributor to Exynos. Hold 7 US granted patents and 6 IEEE Publications. Additionally plays role of Chair of Communication Tech Panel @ SSIR leading the innovation efforts and also help for university collaboration efforts.

Gowrisankar Somichetty
Mr. Gowrisankar Somichetty
is currently a Principal Engineer at Qualcomm India. He received his M.E. degree in Communications Engineering from Indian Institute of Science (IISc). His expertise is in physical layer algorithm design, with a special focus on state-of-the-art wireless communication systems. He has a comprehensive understanding of architectural trade-offs, and has led multiple projects from the concept stage to commercialization. He has also attended and contributed for WiMAX TWG and 3GPP RAN standards. He has 40+ granted patents. | ||
Dr. Tushar Sandhan
Dr. Tushar Sandhan
received B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from IIT Guwahati in 2012. He was recipient of the GSP-SNU scholarship & complete funding for postgraduate research program, through which he received MS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Seoul National University, South Korea in 2014. He received the best MS thesis award in control and automation stream from Electrical and Computer Engineering, SNU. From 2014 onwards, he was working at multimedia R&D group, Samsung Electronics HQ, South Korea. Thereafter he received Ph.D. degree in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Seoul National University in 2018. His Ph.D. thesis, “Constrained Optimization for Translucent Hindrance Removal from a Single Image”, was awarded the distinguished dissertation award from the university. Before joining IIT Kanpur, he was working at advanced research lab, multimedia R&D, Samsung Electronics HQ, South Korea. He is currently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur and his research interests include computer vision, machine learning and robotics. |
Prem Singh
Prem Singh
received M. Tech and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, in 2011 and 2020 respectively. He worked as Project Executive Officer on the Indigenous 5G TestBed project, where he developed hardware and software algorithms for an end-to-end 3GPP compliant 5G-NR Testbed. He was one of the finalists (top two) for the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) Innovative Student Project Award 2021 at the doctoral level. He was awarded the Best PhD Thesis award in the 4th IEEE International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (CICT) 2020 organized by IIIT Kancheepuram, India. His research interests lie in the area of parameter estimation and transceiver design for 5G and beyond wireless technologies including Filter Bank Multicarrier (FBMC), Orthogonal Time-Frequency space (OTFS), massive MIMO and Millimeter-wave. His interests also lie in the area of designing practical 5G wireless systems using 3GPP standards.
