Myself Mohammad Nazir Rizvi, I had attended the Summercamp 2005, when i was perceiving my B.E. from S.R.K.N.E.C. NAgpur. The one month i spent in Camp is unforgetable. I have interacted with deferent peoples all over india. I got a chance to meet such a respectable personalities of civil engineering like Dr S. K. Jain and Dr. C.V.R. Murthi.

The camp has given me a new vision of civil engineering. Now  usually encourage all my juniors to apply for this camp.

Thanks a lot for your mail. I wish to share my experience of Summer Camp' 2005.

I hailed from NIT Nagpur. The SC was simply a mind blowing eye opener to the vistas of opportunities that the field of civil engineering can provide to surge ahead in our professional lives. It introduced us to the marvelous ramifications of this oldest branch of engineering. It left no stone unturned in motivating we passionate & bright brains towards the cause of nation building. It taught us to nurture our interests, fix a realistic goal & follow it with vigor & perseverance, instead of running after easy & quick money (in the form of software jobs). I would take this opportunity to thank & congratulate all the people (faculty, staff & students) behind the success of this very noble venture, year after year. A special thanks goes to our then co-ordinators Mr. Pranab Mohapatra & Mr. Animesh Das for their untitiring efforts throughout the SC'05. Learning along with fun filled activities also inculcated life into the camp & stressed the importance of extracurricular activities in the form of social, cultural, literary & sports events & competitions. Competing as teams brought out the best in us & also taught us the worth of team spirit.

To sum up, I would rate the two months of summer camp as the most memorable & decisive phase of my life. It gave me clarity of vision & purpose to my quest of knowledge. I'll cherish these moments forever.

Currently, I've been working for 2 yrs in Essar Steel Ltd, Surat as a structural designer. I'll be leaving for Virginia Tech Univ. in Fall'09 to pursue MS in Environmental Engineering.
